Zum ERSTEN und EINZIGEN Mal in Europa wird der Film "the cut" zur Geschichte des Cuttings und der Cutting Legende Buster Welch gezeigt - und dies nicht einfach irgendwo, sondern auf der grössten Leinwand der SCHWEIZ im Filmtheater Verkehrshaus Luzern!

Im Film wird über das Leben von Buster Welch berichtet, in der Cutting Szene auch "father of cutting", genannt. Er ist in unzähligen "Hall of Fame" eingetragen und auch Mitgründer der jährlich bedeutendsten Cutting Show - der NCHA Cutting Futurity in Fort Worth!!!! Neben der Lebensgeschichte des mehrfachen NCHA Futurity und World Champions wird auch gezeigt, wie der Cuttingsport entstand - nämlich in den weiten des texanischen Landes, bei der klassischen Rancharbeit! Im Film wird zusätzlich der Trainingsweg des NCHA Open Futurity Champions 2019 Garry Bellenfant sowie des erst 17-jährigen NCHA Non Pro Champions 2018 Cade Shepard dokumentiert. Beide wurden auf ihrem Weg von Buster Welch begleitet. Der Film zeigt wertvolle Tipps und Erfahrung des Hall-of-Famers.

For the very FIRST and ONLY time in Europe, we will show the film "the cut", that shows the history of Cutting and Buster Welch! And we will do it the right way - on the biggest screen (30 m) in Switzerland - the IMAX Lucerne!

This documentary "The Cut" spotlights the cutting horse and ranch work. The film features legendary horseman and rancher Buster Welch. Buster play a huge part in establishing the National Cutting Horse Association Futurity, and event he has won five times. This film is scheduled to be release in 2021. The film explores the history of cutting and leaves a lasting impression on its producers.

Titled The Cut, the documentary explores the rich history and ranching heritage of one of today’s most elite sports in the Western performance industry. The film includes scenes from modern working cattle ranches, footage of high-profile competitions, and stories of some of the earliest cutting horses that were revered in the 19th century.  Commentary comes from respected trainers and ranchers, including Lindy Burch, Tio Kleberg and Austin Shepard and John Welch. The central figure in the film is legendary horseman and rancher Buster Welch.He was instrumental in establishing the National Cutting Horse Association Futurity, won the prestigious event a record five times, and influenced countless trainers. “He’s really the driving force behind this film,” says executive producer Charlie Israel.  In the documentary, Welch provides historic perspective and insight into the horsemanship of training a cutting horse. Including the way of NCHA Open Futurity Champions 2019 Garry Bellenfant and NCHA Non Pro Champions 2018 Cade Shepard.
